日本の家庭料理を英語で学んでみませんか？​

自宅キッチンで開催される料理教室なので、まるで日本人家庭を訪問するような体験が得られます。

学べる日本の家庭料理は、巻き寿司、お好み焼きなどの海外の方にも良く知られたお料理から、和食の基本である一汁三菜や、毎月の日本の行事に合わせた季節限定のメニューをご用意しています。食事制限にもできる限りの対応をさせていただきますので、お気軽にお問い合わせください。

主催者は３人の子供を持つお母さんなので、子連れでの参加も大歓迎です。お子さんのお料理体験が難しい方は、レゴなどのおもちゃで遊んで待つことも可能です。

お料理のスキルはもちろんの事、お客様とのつながりやコミュニケーションを大切にしています。

講師プロフィール​

Yoko（料理家）

日本で生まれ育ったYokoは、英語と日本語で料理レッスンを行う料理研究家です。

彼女の料理の旅は、家庭科の教師であった母親から、幼い頃に日本の家庭料理の基礎を教わったことから始まりました。

彼女の食への情熱は、アメリカの大学で（栄養学と食品安全学を含む）フードサービス・マネジメント）専攻、ホスピタリティ・マネジメントの学士号を取得することにつながりました。

彼女の食への愛情は個人的な楽しみを超え、家族やゲストと料理を分かち合うことに大きな喜びを感じ、一品一品に愛情を込めて調理しています。

時間：10-13時(ランチを作って食べる時間帯にしています)

Authentic Japanese home cooking lessons by Yoko!!

Yoko is a Japanese culinary professional who offers her food and culinary business in both English and Japanese.

Yoko has enjoyed cooking since she was a child, having been taught the basics of Japanese cuisine by her mother, a home economics teacher.

She went to the US for college and earned a BS degree in Hospitality Management, including Nutrition, Food Hygiene, and Food Service Management.

Her study and passion for food never ends and enjoy finding delicious food both in Japan and abroad.

The cooking class is held in Yoko’s kitchen, so you can experience as if you were visiting a Japanese family home.

The Japanese home-style dishes you can learn include famous dishes such as sushi rolls and okonomiyaki, as well as the basics of Japanese cooking, such as one main dish, two side dishes, soup and rice. Seasonal monthly menus are also available to match Japanese traditional events. We do our best to accommodate those with dietary restrictions such as vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free.

The organizer is a mother of three children, so you are welcome to bring your children along. If it is difficult for your children to experience cooking, they can wait to play with Lego or other toys.

We value not only teach culinary skills, but also communication and relationship with our customers.
